Dr Theopolis Demos Volume I

This mp3 download collection contains roughs and demos of Dr. Theopolis songs which give a look into the writing and recording process. From the Voice of the Future era come two early mixes of Fabulous and Voice of the Future. From the Astronomical era are four instrumental versions of songs, pre-vocals, unedited and raw. An early mix of Astronomical features Jules Holbrook in the chorus verus the album version. The Price is Right has an alternate ending which would have put a different spin on the track.

Two unreleased demos Hey Socrates and Digital City, both of which were ditched from the Astronomical album, are available in this collection. An early demo of Creature from a Hard Planet features the band tracking to a drum machine. And from the (as of yet) unreleased Dr. Theopolis third album (titled to be announced) is the demo of So Smooth which features sax play Joe Cunningham adding bari sax as the main theme.
